💛 Rex: From Shelter Favorite to Downeast Magazine Star 💛
Rex is a striking 4-year-old with a big heart and tons of energy who has been with us for 323 days. Once he feels comfortable, he’s a gentle, loving boy who enjoys walks, playtime, attention, and even swimming. He’s muzzle-trained and always ready for an adventure.
Rex does best as the only dog, in a home without small children, cats, or small animals. He thrives with a female owner who can offer patience, structure, and love. He also has thyroid issues that require management and may resource guard, so he’s fed separately.
After nearly a year in our care, Rex is more than ready for a calm, understanding home—and he’ll even be featured in Downeast Magazine next month (December)! He’s a loyal, affectionate companion who will bring joy, fun, and unwavering devotion to the right person.
