For far too long, Emily has watched other cats leave the shelter while she patiently waits for someone to choose her. As our longest-term cat resident, this beautiful 6-year-old is more than ready to find the forever home she's been dreaming of.
Emily absolutely adores people. She loves attention, enjoys spending time with her favorite humans, and is happiest when she's getting all the love she deserves. While she's affectionate and social, she's also great at communicating when she's ready for a little personal space—and all she's asking for is a family who will respect her boundaries and love her for exactly who she is.
Emily would do best as the only cat in the home, where she can truly be the queen of the castle and soak up every bit of attention.
After spending so much time waiting, Emily deserves more than a kennel. She deserves a cozy bed, sunny windows, gentle hands, and a family to call her own. Every day she greets visitors with hope that today might finally be her day.

She loves soaking up attention from her people and is happiest when she's getting pets, cuddles, and plenty of love. Because of her shy nature, Cow will need a family that respects her boundaries and understands that building trust takes time. She isn't the type of cat who will immediately seek out attention, but with patience, consistency, and a calm environment, she has the potential to blossom into a loyal companion.
Cow would likely benefit from living with another confident, cat-friendly feline who can help show her that people aren't so scary. Any introductions should be done slowly to help her feel safe and secure.
Due to her sensitive nature, Cow is looking for an adult-only home without children where she can settle in and gain confidence at her own speed.
