Train for Tomorrow - A Second Chance for our Shelter Dogs
At the Animal Orphanage, we believe every dog deserves the chance to become their very best self. Some of our pups need specialized behavioral training to build confidence, learn coping skills, and overcome past trauma.

That’s why we launched Train for Tomorrow, a campaign to give our shelter dogs access to professional, life-changing behavioral training with Christine McAvoy, one of our most trusted training partners.
Why Christine's Training Works
Christine’s program is different because dogs live in her home during their training. This immersive approach helps dogs:

-
Learn to navigate a real household
-
Build confidence in everyday environments
-
Practice calm behavior indoors and outdoors
-
Gain structure, boundaries, and trust in humans
By living with Christine, dogs learn how to thrive in a home, not just succeed in a training session. For dogs coming from trauma or long shelter stays, this can be a life-changing experience.
